How did we
get here?
Diane Marbach, Jamac’s founder, was widely regarded as a trailblazer in the industry. Along with her husband Lou, they were at the forefront of frozen prepared food at its inception. The company has been family owned over the 60 years it has been in operation. It is led by Edward Marbach, the president and CEO, and his son Andrew, the vice president.
Many of Jamac’s employees have backgrounds in food service operations and culinary arts. This is essential when working with customers which include chefs, food service managers, purchasing agents, and dieticians to name a few. Our staff advises our clients on current menu trends, gives product presentations, consults on new product lines and applications, offers nutritional information, designs special flyers and offers cost savings and competitive pricing.
The delivery radius encompasses approximately 100 miles from its distribution center in Jersey City including: Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Long Island, New York City, and New Jersey. The company proudly services: hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, colleges, public and private schools, correctional and military facilities, hotels, business and industry accounts, arenas, ballparks, private clubs, caterers, restaurants and various other businesses.
Jamac continues to forge new and lasting relationships with its client base and perseveres at pleasing the long list of dedicated customers it has come to know so well for over 60 years. We believe in keeping that personal touch that so many businesses have lost.
